Andy Ransom, Chairman

Andy joined Rentokil Initial in May 2008 as Executive Director Corporate Development. Andy has Executive responsibility for Ambius globally, and since 1 January 2009 for both the Asia and Pacific Regions. Andy also has functional responsibility for Corporate Development, M&A, Legal, Company Secretariat, Risk and Health and Safety. Andy is on the Rentokil Initial main Board as well as the Corporate Executive Board (“CEB”).

Andy joined from Imperial Chemical Industries PLC (“ICI”) where, along with John McAdam and Alan Brown, he was on the ICI Executive Team. During his twenty years at ICI, Andy was responsible for a number of Group functions (including M&A and Legal) and international businesses (including ICI’s Regional and Industrial Division) and worked for a number of years in both Canada and the USA.

Jeff Mariola, President

As President, Jeff leads Ambius’ European and North American businesses.

Jeff is inspired by the Ambius vision - to be the premier creator of ambience for businesses, which enriches the work experience and enables people to thrive. Jeff believes we at Ambius make a difference by helping our customers grow your businesses with an engaged workforce in harmonious surroundings. Ambius’ commitment to world-class service and teamwork is the foundation for our lasting and strong relationships, both with our customers and our fellow colleagues. Jeff strives to strengthen these relationships every single day.

Prior to his current international post, Jeff was President of Initial Tropical Plants in North America, where he managed over 1,200 employees in more than 40 offices. His tenure with Rentokil Initial spanned 25 years, where he held a variety of management positions.

Connecting to life outside the office and within his hometown community of Chicago is also important to Jeff. He is an Opera fan, having served as a Super Numeri in two Chicago Lyric Opera’s, Carmen and Tosca, and he’s completed several marathons. Jeff loves to travel, cook (especially Italian), and enjoys fine wine.

Michelle Rodwell, Divisional Vice President, Marketing

Michelle is responsible for leading the branding and marketing strategy for Ambius' European and North American businesses.

Michelle is energized by the many ways Ambius can create a feeling of wellbeing and productivity within a space, expanding beyond plant related services. She believes all five senses play a role in brand image and employee satisfaction, and thus Ambius provides more than just products and services but an experience. To present this message to the world, Michelle was integral to the Ambius branding efforts, which won a “Best Rebranding” award from CorpComms in the United Kingdom. Michelle is also committed to enhancing potential and passion within the company and is the co-founder of Ambius University, providing development programs and tools to Ambius colleagues all over the globe.

Michelle was previously Director of Marketing for Initial Tropical Plants in North America. She has over 20 years of marketing expertise including strategic brand building, direct marketing, internet marketing, website development, market research, and promotions. She has held a variety of leadership positions on both the corporate and agency side within several industries.

Michelle keeps busy outside of work with her two daughters in her hometown outside of Chicago. She enjoys architecture, the arts, and fine wine. Michelle also makes physical fitness a daily priority and lives a health conscious lifestyle.

Bob Ruzga, Divisional Vice President Information Technology

Bob Ruzga joined Ambius in June 1984. He has over 27 years of experience in all areas of IT including strategy planning, infrastructure management, change management, IT compliance, systems administration, application development and vendor management. From 2004 to 2006, Bob was appointed the VP of IT for Initial Security, an American security officer business and a former sister company of Ambius.

Prior to joining Ambius, Bob spent two years at the City of Waukegan where he was the Manager of Data Processing. He holds a BS in Computer Science (application development) along with a minor in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and is an active member of the Technology Executive Network.
