Ken Noble, Area Managing Director, Northwest Region

Ken Noble is headquartered at the San Jose, California branch office. Ken is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the fifteen Ambius operations in the Canada and the Northwestern United States. Ken's prior position with Ambius was as Sales and Market Manager for the Northern California area branches of San Jose, Sacramento and San Francisco. Ken was responsible for the leadership, business development, and overall business and sales operations of the three branches.

Before joining Ambius, Ken spent nearly 4 years as General Manager for a California forensic architecture firm, 4 years as a general and regional manager for Roto-Rooter and 10 years a general, sales, and production manager with Cintas Corporation. He was concurrently an Active and Reserve duty Air Force officer, retiring as a Lt. Colonel after 22 years of service. Ken holds a Masters of Systems Management from USC and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from San Jose State University. He lives in Pleasanton, California with his wife Mavis and their 3 children.

Barry Clements, Area Managing Director, East Region

Barry Clements is the Regional Vice President of the East Region for Ambius. Headquartered in the Washington, DC Branch office, Barry is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the fifteen Initial Tropical Plant operations in the East region of the United States. Prior to this current position, Barry was the Branch Manager for the Washington, DC branch of Initial Tropical Plants, where he was responsible for the leadership, business development, and overall business operations of the branch.

Before joining Ambius, Barry spent nearly 9 years in branch and operational management assignments with Cintas Corporation and over two 2 years in program management and manufacturing engineering with Ford Motor Company. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Todd Ferguson, Area Managing Director, Southwest Region

Todd Ferguson is headquartered at the Los Angeles, California branch office. Todd is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the twelve Ambius branches located in the major markets of the Southern United States, from California to Western North Carolina.

Todd’s prior assignment with Ambius was as Sales Manager and Market Manager for the Southern California area branches of Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Todd was responsible for the leadership, business development, and overall business sales and operations of the three branches.

Before joining Ambius in 2004, Todd spent over seven years serving in a variety of management positions for Cintas Corporation, a business services company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His roles included Service Manager, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and General Manager. Prior to his time with Cintas he served nearly five years as a Branch Manager for Terminix International, a subsidiary of ServiceMaster Corporation. Todd is a Drilling Reserve Navy officer, currently a Lieutenant Commander with 19 years of service. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Philosophy from The University of Rochester. He is the father of four children and lives in Orange County, California where he is active as a youth sports coach and Sunday school teacher.

Mike Purcell, Vice President of Human Resources

Mike Purcell has been with Ambius for 22 years and is responsible for all areas of human resources, policy development and administration, benefit programs, training and development programs, payroll, employee relations legal compliance, executive and management recruitment, performance appraisal programs, industry and college relations and tracking of employee career development.

Mike’s prior background was labor relations and human resources with three other major Chicagoland employers. His 30 years of field human resource experience provides a strong background in assisting the over 40 branch operations. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and an MBA in Human Resources from Loyola University. Additionally, he has been a part-time night school faculty member of Elmhurst College, teaching business and human resource programs for the last 22 years.
