Hedera Canariensis
Hedera caneriensis is a large-leaved ivy from the Canary Islands, where it grows freely on the lower slopes of the hills. The best known form of this plant is a variety called “Gloire de Marengo” which has striking variegated foliage. Unlike English ivy (Hedera helix), Canary Island ivy does not produce aerial roots and is not a natural climber.
