How do we make this happen?

Depending on the type of scenting you have chosen, the retail scent machines will be installed in the most efficient way possible.

Together we define the installation. We look for a place where the Premium Scenting unit(s) can be hidden. Sometimes a technical room is the perfect place to hide the aroma marketing unit – and we diffuse the scent air through a hole in the wall. Electricity needs to be provided at the installation point.

Challenge

Uterqüe is the commercial format of the Inditex Group that sells fashionable accessories and a selected range of first class textile and leather garments. The collection, entirely designed by the creative team of Uterqüe, offers exclusive goods of the latest fashion trends.

The company was looking at using a signature scented air to improve the welcome impact in their store.

Solution

Ambius provided an ambient air solution to meet Uterqüe’s need. A track light unit was mounted in the 60 stores of the brand around Europe & Middle East. The scent marketing appliance is installed in the entrance diffusing a Palazzo scent specially designed for Uterqüe.

Retail chain store – scent marketing

Challenge

The Diane von Furstenberg Company was launching “D”, their new fine fragrance, looking for innovative ways to promote it in their NYC flagship store.

Solution

Ambius devised a way to formulate “D” for airborne system diffusion, providing the aroma where needed. Two HVAC scented air delivery units were installed inside the store. The lease line was also extended by installing direct diffusion air scenting units outside that were tucked under canopies. The goal is to roll this scent marketing concept out to other stores in US & Europe.

Seeking a way to improve the experience of its customers in checkout lines, a major European discount grocery and general merchandise chain, turned to Ambius for a scenting solution.

Solution

Ambius developed an Ambient Scenting program using a fragrance called 'Nature After Rain,' which was diffused over the checkout area in a test store. The utilization and understanding of aromatherapy and performance was central in the choice of this particular aroma, which is known to be helpful in shortening people's perception of time passed in a space.

Positive response to the test program moved the retailer to expand the service to additional outlets and also to add a 'wine cellar' fragrance to enhance the consumer experience in its wine departments.
