Planet Postiive

Ambius has become a Planet Positive certified business in recognition of the company's commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its operation. The Planet Positive status certifies that Ambius has measured and is actively reducing its carbon footprint and developed a long-term strategy to become a sustainably green company.

To achieve the Planet Positive certification, Ambius has followed a four-step process including the measurement of the company's carbon footprint and a commitment to reducing emissions on an annual basis. In addition, a report explaining the carbon footprint and outlining actions, targets and reductions has been made available in the public domain, whilst the company has made a contribution to the Cool Earth climate project that protects vulnerable rainforests from destruction.
Planet Positive is a not for profit organisation providing a global environmental mark and inspiring action on climate change for a better way of living. A business, event or product is Planet Positive if it has measured and verified a net positive impact on the planet, its ecosystems and its people. It signifies a high standard of environmental achievement by reducing your greenhouse gas emissions. It also demonstrates a positive attitude to climate change and a better way of living. Business, events, products and individuals carrying this mark are immediately identified as good for the planet.
Technical methodology statement
The boundaries, methodologies and reduction criteria to achieve Planet Positive accreditation are laid out in the Planet Positive Protocol. This is an international standard in carbon measurement, reduction and investment for businesses, events, products and people. It is aligned with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBSCD) and World Resources Institute (WRI) GHG Protocol, ISO 14044, BS 8901 and PAS 2050. In several instances Planet Positive chooses goes beyond these standards in terms of measurement, reduction and offsetting beyond neutral. Our protocol is reviewed quarterly by an independent Technical Committee to ensure that it adopts best global practice and transparency.
