Located on the University of Maryland campus, this tech-forward space provides real-time experiences, made possible by machine learning, to help advance the banking industry. With such a technology-influenced space, the client wanted to add green elements by bringing plants into the mix. A large black wall provided a unique canvas for Designer Lisa Filipiak to introduce multiple framed green wall elements in varying shapes and sizes to create a montage of living art. Using multiple plant types in each green wall provides variety and texture, all highlighted by sparkling natural light provided by large windows adjacent to the wall. The gorgeous wall can be seen from throughout the space, providing a biophilic effect for anyone working and learning in the space.
