The bustling outdoor promenade of Lincoln Road is the trendy epicenter for locals and tourists of South Beach. In April 2015, the world’s largest information technology company opened a new flagship store amongst 200 designer boutiques, chic retail shops, sidewalk cafes, bars, and art galleries. Ambius was hired by an American based consumer electronics, computer software mega-giant to design, install, and maintain an extensive four sided living wall which resides in the light well of the roof atop the second level of the flagship store. The Living Wall is visible from the sales floor below when looking up through the skylight. Consumers are surrounded by nature from above, comparable to standing under a large canopy tree.
