Creating a peaceful connection to nature was the goal for Ambius Designer Lisa Ciccia, who designed this gorgeous living wall, entwining custom wood elements and plants over a 60’ wide by 6’ high wall at Verastem Oncology. From conceptualization to installation, the project took five weeks, and included building a custom pressurized watering tank system. The team worked closely with Sequoia Wood Flooring to source, sand, and stain the wood elements, matching a custom patina of wood already in place in the facility. With 1,600 plants, this living wall is a beautiful focal point in the office, helping all who pass through find a peaceful moment of reflection.
