Wellness and Greenery Unite in Two-Story Living Wall Design | Phoenix, AZ

George Oliver undertook a transformative office remodel in Phoenix, featuring a wellness and fitness area highlighted by a stunning two-story living wall. This wall, located behind a stairwell connecting wellness suites, incorporates seven plant varieties and a total of 1,230 individual plants. Spanning from floor to ceiling, the lush greenery creates a calming and vibrant focal point, perfectly aligning with the wellness theme of the space.

Careful planning ensured the wall’s dynamic appeal and functionality. An irrigation system and strategically placed lighting—both from the ceiling above and beneath the walkway—support plant health and visibility across all levels. To ease maintenance, a small section behind the walkway features high-quality replica plants, eliminating hard-to-reach areas and reducing strain on service technicians.

The installation required precision and safety, with the team skillfully maneuvering ladders to position plants behind the walkway. The result is a visually striking, meticulously designed feature that exceeded client expectations, elevating the space and creating a positive impact on building occupants.
