One Market Plaza | San Francisco
The One Market Plaza project was a golden opportunity to decorate an entire city block, and a San Francisco landmark building for the holidays. From the beginning of the project the client required the design be original and eclectic with no obvious Christmas décor. The project opportunity was presented to us in November 2016 with a four-week window to design, produce, and install. With a timeframe not conducive to ordering new items and materials, especially with a job of this magnitude, a lot of creative thinking and teamwork was needed to pull it off successfully.
Live 15’ trees were decorated with succulents, grasses, and tillandsias as the main focal point of the design while hand blown glass vases with beautiful organic branches softened corners. Warm, vibrant colors were used to make both the trees and wreaths pop to add the eccentricity that the client had requested. Challenge accepted.
