The garden in the office in Oakland, CA

A renowned architectural firm embraced the biophilia movement by transforming their office into a lush, park-like environment. This transformation featured a garden with pergolas, trees, and organic designs that mirror the surrounding landscape of Lake Merritt. The office space was meticulously designed with an array of indoor plants, including tall Ficus trees, succulents, and vines. These plants were thoughtfully placed to enhance the natural textures and organic flow that you experience outdoors.

A custom-designed worktable with an 11-foot Ficus tree, sansevieria privacy screens, and strategically placed planters turned a once bland office into a vibrant, creative hub. Despite the challenges of a tight installation timeline, the project was completed successfully, impressing both the firm and its clients showcasing the power of biophilic design to inspire creativity and well-being.
