Prior to joining Ambius in 1997 as a Branch Manager, JOanne, a graduate of St. John’s College in Brantford, Ontario, worked in the hospitality sector for over a decade in a variety of service and management positions for leading Canadian hotels.
JOanne loves creating smarter, healthier spaces for businesses that enrich the work experience and enable customers to thrive. JOanne’s attention to style and service benefits a wide variety of hospitality, retail, transportation, and commercial real estate clients across the Pacific Northwest. If you have been dazzled by the green interior landscape designs seen in Vancouver International Airport’s International area, across Canada’s HSBC Banks or in the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel or Westin Resort and Spa Hotel, you have seen just a few examples of JOanne’s stunning initiatives.
When she’s not hard at work, JOanne, who lives with her husband, Paul, and three pets, can be found kickboxing at the gym; blowing bubbles with Pajo, her bilingual, chatty African Grey parrot that speaks over 300 words; singing with her Ring-necked Parakeet known as “Yellow;” or dressing in the same pink frocks favored by Tequila the Chihuahua. She’s also an active volunteer fundraiser with BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and believes that volunteering is the most fundamental act of citizenship.
