With that in mind, we developed a business-wide operational approach to environmental sustainability in 2020 that is being delivered through each country’s operations more and more each day. In an effort to move to more sustainable solutions, we are evaluating partnerships to work only with sustainable suppliers and then making sure that any paper products and other materials we use are designed for sustainability. We strive to lead our industry with the most environmentally friendly range of products and services, supporting our customers' own environmental ambitions.
Our entire operation is committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. To attain this goal, we are reducing our carbon emissions from vehicles by transitioning to a low emission (EV) fleet and utilizing route planning tools to reduce mileage. Across our locations, we are measuring and reducing our waste to zero landfill and incineration and moving to 100% reusable or recyclable packaging. Lastly, we are working with our suppliers to minimize their own climate-related impacts and those of our products. We have already seen a 25% improvement in carbon emissions efficiency since 2017.
To promote a sustainable workplace, the company is introducing green energy tariffs for our owned buildings and prioritizing property energy efficiency savings opportunities, such as installing LED lighting.

The product range complies with fragrance safety standards outlined by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards as well as ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
